Janet Damita Jo Jackson, an American actress and recording artist, is thought to be worth $175 million. The youngest member of the illustrious Jackson family, Janet has always delighted in the limelight. Few famous siblings are able to break out of the shadows of their more well-known siblings and establish themselves as superstars in their own right with unique personalities. She was the ninth child in the Jackson family, and by the time she was born, her older brothers had already started working as the Jackson 5. She was bitten by the acting bug at a young age, making her stage debut at age seven with the Jackson 5, and at age 10, when producer Norman Lear chose her to join the cast of Good Times, she started her sitcom acting career. Janet Jackson was the tenth child and youngest child of Katherine Esther and Joseph Walter Jackson when she was born in Gary, Indiana, on May 16, 1966.
Wissam Al-Mana, a businessman from Qatar, and Janet got married in January 2012. Three months after the birth of their son Eissa, the couple decided to end their marriage and file for divorce in April 2017. To split custody of their one child, the couple came to an agreement.
The couple made news in June 2018 after the singer contacted the authorities after her son’s carer complained about Wissam’s harsh behaviour, which supposedly scared the child. The nanny had to lock herself in a bathroom in order to phone Janet and inform her of Wissam’s inappropriate behaviour. To check on her son, the singer promptly dialled the police.
